Most of the wood pieces I use are recycled. I select the wood, sand it, draw the image on paper, carve the wood by hand with a knife, prep the wood with gesso, paint the wood with oil paint and linseed oil and then paint the lines between the colours black, with a small brush.

My inspiration comes from memories, music and world events. Sometimes it is a combination of all three.
